I work upstream - shaping what gets built before anyone opens a design tool. I ask the business question before the UX question, and I stay in until the feature is live and working.
Over the past two years I've integrated AI into the design process - cutting research synthesis from days to hours, accelerating documentation, and improving design-to-engineering handoffs.

I ask "should we build this?" before "how should this look?" I work with founders, PMs and engineering leads to define what matters and what doesn't.

I build design systems that compound over time - not just component libraries, but the foundations, tokens, and governance that let teams move faster as the product grows.

My measure of success is whether the product works for real users - not whether the prototype impressed in review. I stay in until the thing ships.
Designed a unified 0-to-1 platform for maritime fuel traders - live commodity pricing, global port bunkering rates, deal pipeline, and a real-time port map in one interface. Challenged myself to build the UI in 5 days using Claude Code - now live in production.
Replaced a spreadsheet-and-WhatsApp booking process with a React booking frontend on a WordPress backend, complete with Razorpay payments and automated confirmations - for an eco-travel company I co-founded.
Redesigned the core product and main website. Built features including invoice creation, OCR, and payment flows. Created a design system used across web and mobile, while contributing to product decisions beyond design.
Alongside the product work at Converj, I hired and mentored the design team - establishing workflows and design standards, and turning a single-person design function into a structured, high-output team.
I've had the chance to work on products used by millions and learned something new from every single one.
Jan 2025 – Present
Led end-to-end design for web and mobile MVP within a six-month timeline. Partnered with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and drive alignment. Built a Claude-based design-to-development workflow that cut delivery time on every feature - and the impact was big enough that business stakeholders now use the same workflow themselves to turn requirements directly into working prototypes.

Led a team of two designers to transform the product experience. Established a unified design system resulting in a 40% reduction in development time. Worked closely with the CEO, CBO, engineers, and stakeholders to align roadmaps and deliver user-centered solutions across web and mobile.

Promoted to Senior UI Designer, directing the team in creating UI solutions across web and mobile. Guided junior designers through mentoring and design sessions, while delivering process flows, wireframes, and pitch designs that met measurable business goals.

Joined a product design agency as a UI Designer, designing UI solutions across web and mobile for client projects. Built foundational skills in process flows, wireframing, and pitch design ahead of progressing to a senior role.

Sole designer handling branding, website design and development, investment pitch design, and design direction for clients. Spearheaded branding initiatives that significantly increased brand recognition and engagement.
